Perfume
A series of paintings and drawings inspired by Patrick Suskind’s novel “Perfume” whose protagonist, Grenouille, has a finely tuned olfactory sense despite possessing no odour of his own.
A group of drawings produced in an improvised manner to develop the compositions which resulted in the paintings above.
War of the Worlds
An ongoing series of paintings and drawings inspired in equal part by HG Wells classic sci-fi novel “ The War of Worlds” and Jeff Wayne’s musical adaptation.
Some of these images directly illustrate scenes from the story, whereas others are the artists conjecture at the lives of others affected by the invasion, and the lives they leave behind.
