During my MA studies at Gray’s School of Art I was fortunate to be awarded a John Kinross scholarship by the Royal Scottish Academy, allowing me to spend time studying in Florence. I undertook this trip in October 2022.

My time in Florence lead to an interest in and study of the traditional form of fresco painting. Since returning I have been experimenting with this techniques. Below are some of my first studies, painting onto plaster.
